Troy Harris - Founder/Executive
Director
Troy graduated from the University of Victoria in 1996 with a Bachelor
degree in Education. He was also a member of the 1996 CIS National
Championship Soccer Team at UVic. Much of his extra curricular time at
school is spent coaching Soccer and Basketball. He is very proud to have
started a non-profit society with friends and supporters and looks
forward to providing opportunities to young people in impoverished nations
around the world.
Craig Stenberg - Vice President
Craig has been involved with Canwes since it's inception. Craig graduated form Camosun College as a Civil Engineering Technologist and currently works for the City of Victoria. Craig is married as has two young boys. Interestes and hobbies of Craig's include sports, spending time with his family, camping, and classic cars. Craig enjoys working with the board of Canwes and seeing the difference this small organization has made in such a short time.
Jacqui ten Hove - Secretary/Treasurer
Jacqui graduated from the University of Victoria in 1996 and has been
teaching for the past 11 years. She began her career in Fort St. James,
British Columbia before returning to Victoria in 2001. Jacqui is a
dedicated teacher, involving herself in numerous other roles within the
schools' in which she teaches. She has spent many years in a leadership
role with the Ministry of Education, marking provincial examinations.
Her hobbies include reading and running, and she is extremely proud
to be helping CanWES in providing quality education to less fortunate
children in countries around the world.
Kevin Harrington
Kevin is a graduate from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor
degree in Education. He later went on to complete his Masters degree in
Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University. Kevin has spent
much of his teaching career involving himself in extra-curricular sports,
coaching both Basketball and Football. He is married and has two
young boys. Kevin is happy to be a part of CanWES - helping to change
lives of many young students throughout the world.
Steve Ward
Steve is an accountant currently working in Victoria. He is excited to
be part of this non-profit society that will change the lives of
people around the world.
